Megavalanche 2026 in Alpe d'Huez: the legendary mountain bike descent from Pic Blanc to Allemont, an adrenaline rush and an extreme challenge in the heart of the Alps!
Like every summer, Alpe d'Huez will host the Megavalanche, a unique mountain bike race. Since 1995, hundreds of amateur and professional riders have taken to the mass start at Pic Blanc, at an altitude of 3,330 meters, for an exceptional descent of more than 20 km and 2,600 meters of negative elevation gain.
On the program: snow, scree, technical singles and forest passages, all in a magnificent alpine setting. More than just a competition, the Megavalanche has become a true benchmark for enduro mountain biking and DH marathons, offering both an extraordinary sporting challenge and an unforgettable experience where speed, endurance and adrenaline are the order of the day.
